Dana and Lyzander's wedding was as elegant and beautiful as it was fun. The happy couple celebrated their wedding day at their family farm and with the help of their friends and family they did an INCREDIBLE job decorating and creating a truly beautiful setting for their ceremony and reception spaces. After a sweet sunny ceremony surrounded by so many adoring loves one's we captured some special portraits with the bride and grooms families, then headed off for adventure with the wedding party! 

We headed to one of the spots we had captured some of Dana and Lyzander's engagement photos and it was the perfect setting for some gorgeous portraits and some fun with the wedding party. At one point I'd gone off with Dana to find a spot to take some bridal portraits and we were suddenly being called over by the rest of the wedding party. They had hoisted the groom into the old barns loft window and wanted his beautiful bride to join him. They figured it was safe enough so up she went for some really cute pictures, and then they safely lowered her back down after. I wish I could say the same for Lyzander, who instead of being gently lowered down was somehow dropped flat on his back! He's tough though and he got right back up and seemed thankfully unfazed by the whole experience. I'm fairly sure if I landed flat on my back from that barn loft I'd still be laying there haha! After we finished up the couples pictures we headed back to the family farm for their dinner and reception. 

After a delicious buffet style meal, we enjoyed some heartfelt speeches and toasts, followed by the newlyweds adorable first dance, and then we snuck away for a romantic little sunset session with just the two of them. The land of living skies did not disappoint and we enjoyed taking some pictures in front of a stunning prairie sunset, a private 2nd first dance, and just had a chance to catch our breath after an amazing but very busy day! Afterwards Dana and Lyzander rejoined their guests and partied the night away. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Gaetz! Thank you so much for trusting me to capture your wedding day ♡
