Brittany & Joel's Winter Wedding

Whether sunshine or showers, through blizzards or snow, there's a wedding today so come on let's go!

And through blizzards and snow it was on this beautiful Saskatchewan winters day! Brittany & Joel did not let the weather freeze any of their plans though. I knew the roads would not be great so I was sure to give myself more than twice the usual amount of time to drive up to Regina, and I'm sure glad I did! After a long and blustery drive I arrived safely at The Hotel Saskatchewan to join these two love birds and capture their amazing winter wedding. I found Brittany and a few of her nearest and dearest in the hotels Royal Suite and we wasted no time getting right into some of her beautiful wedding details.

The Hotel Saskatchewan is a stunning venue with a lot of interesting history! If you're looking for a place to feel like royalty then this is the spot for you! It's no wonder this hotel has been visited by some very prestigious guests such as Jon Bon Jovi, Bill Clinton, Queen Elizabeth II and Paul McCartney! As a matter of fact each of them not only stayed in this hotel, but stayed in The Royal Suite as well! The bride and groom shared a private first look together in their beautiful suite, we captured a few portraits of just the two of them and then just as we finished up their adorable son Oliver, with impeccable timing I might add, woke up from a nice big nap and we then headed off to the library room to get these two married! The ceremony was perfect, this gorgeous couple, with adoring family surrounding them in an absolutely stunning location said their I do's and started off on their happily ever after.
